𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘀 is looking for an experienced, energetic, and organised Kitchen Manager to lead our high-volume production kitchen. As a true South Coast institution, we take great pride in crafting premium, handmade pies using the finest local ingredients.

Working alongside our General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a passionate, diverse kitchen team, and ensure our award-winning standards are maintained across every single production line. This is a full-time hands-on position based at our commercial kitchen in Ulladulla NSW.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

- 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, train, mentor and supervise bakers, chefs, apprentices and kitchen hands.

- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Oversee daily production to meet ever-changing demands

- 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: Maintain strict consistency, flavour, and pastry quality.

- 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 & 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Manage stock levels, reduce waste, and coordinate with local suppliers.

- 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: Enforce food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness.

- 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Keep the kitchen running efficiently during peak periods.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿

- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Strong background as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, Baker or Production Manager.

- 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Commercial experience with pastry production and lamination is highly regarded.

- 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Excellent communication skills with an honest, positive, upbeat management style.

- 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲: Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure.

- 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain) and current driver's licence
