Coast and Country Community Services (CCCS) is a values-driven community services organisation committed to supporting people across the communities we serve.

CCCS is proud to be participating in the Community Transport Trial, a significant milestone that will allow us to expand our eligibility and service provision under the Community Transport program. This expansion will increase access for people engaging in education through Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), including TAFE and community colleges, as well as individuals travelling to work as apprentices.

As part of this growth, we are seeking dedicated and reliable Driver/Support Workers to join our teams in Ulladulla or Nowra.

As a Driver/Support Worker, you will provide safe, reliable and respectful transport and support services to clients accessing education, training, employment pathways and community-based support.

This role operates during school term and RTO open periods.

You will play an important role in helping local clients remain connected to education, employment, services and their broader community.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the continuity of CCCSโ€™ Canberra corridor bus service.
- Providing approved transport for students to and from school.
- Supporting people accessing education through RTOs, including TAFE and community colleges.
- Supporting individuals travelling to work as apprentices.
- Providing NDIS support to people with disability.
- Supporting elderly clients through Support at Home services.
- Ensuring safe vehicle operation, including daily safety checks and compliance requirements.
- Engaging with clients in a respectful, professional and person-centred way.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing, needs or circumstances.
- Completing accurate data entry, documentation and record keeping.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and safety of vehicles and workspaces.

Essential Requirements

- Current NSW C Class Driver Licence (or higher) with a proven safe driving record

- NDISWC & WWCC or willing to obtain prior to commencement

- ASTP Compliance (CCCS will support thought process)

- Transport for NSW Driver Authority โ€“ Public Passenger Vehicle Driver

- Ability to work flexibly and responsively

- Strong commitment to supporting aged, frail, and vulnerable people, people with disability, and students

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles

- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time

- Experience in NDIS, aged care, or community services
- Experience transporting wheelchair users or vulnerable clients
- LR licence or higher
