𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗸 has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our passionate Food & Beverage team.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in leading daily restaurant operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and leadership team, you will help drive service excellence, support and develop team members, and ensure every guest enjoys the warm, professional hospitality for which Rick Stein at Bannisters Mollymook is renowned.

Rick Stein Mollymook is a celebrated seafood destination, renowned for its fresh, locally sourced produce and simple, elegant dishes inspired by famous chef Rick Stein’s signature style. Nestled on the oceanfront cliffs of Mollymook Beach, the restaurant offers a relaxed yet refined dining experience, showcasing the natural beauty of the South Coast and the incredible seafood sourced from the area.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴…

- Support the day-to-day operation of the iconic Rick Steins restaurant at Bannisters by the Sea.

- Lead service periods, ensuring a smooth, professional and memorable guest experience.

- Coach, mentor and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service standards.

- Assist with training and development to build a high-performing team culture.

- Manage guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues proactively.

- Support rostering, labour management and operational administration.

- Monitor stock control, ordering and inventory processes.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements.

- Work closely with the kitchen and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless operations.

- Uphold the service standards and reputation of the Rick Stein and Bannisters brands.

𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲...

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a high end, a la carte or hatted restaurant environment.

- A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and NSW Competency Card (essential).

- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including restaurant service standards.

- The ability to lead, coach and inspire a diverse team.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the business.
