𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare working across the Ulladulla Area on a Permanent Part Time basis you will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship. Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆.


With kindness and understanding, you will provide:

- 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
- 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
- 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
- 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
- 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

You are a kind-hearted, patient and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people.

You share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, and bring them to everything you do.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹:

- Valid NSW Driver's Licence
- Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲:

- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)

- 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 - being dependable and consistent in care delivery
- 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 - adjusting to different needs and environments
