The Plant Culture team are seeking a Nursery Hand / Sales Assistant to join our retail plant nursery in Milton, NSW. As a casual role based in our Milton retail nursery, this position offers the opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and plant expertise. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on horticulturalist and have an ability to engage with landscapers, trades and customers to select the perfect plants for their needs.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴

- Proactively engage and build our local trade relationships and follow up on plant enquiries
- Drive and generate sales growth through relationships and recommendations
- Provide insight and advice to customers on ideal plant selection for theirs gardens and indoor plant and pot combinations
- Offer suggestions on plant design ideas for residential properties
- Have an eye for merchandising standards, presenting our plants and pots to look their best
- Maintain exceptional plant care standards and maintenance of plant health
- Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to assist customers in selecting the right plants
- Maintain the indoor retail shop and outdoor nursery yards appearance, including stocking shelves, watering plants, and ensuring the nursery is clean and well-organised
- Process sales transactions and maintain inventory
- Post on our business social media platforms i.e. Instagram and Facebook

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

- The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification and / or experience working in a similar role
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Ability to lift / move up to 20kg
- Experience with Shopify POS system preferred
