We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Engagement and Workforce Supervisor to join our growing team. About the Role

As the Community Engagement and Workforce Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of dedicated staff who provide direct support to participants. You will ensure that all activities and programs are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with each participant’s individual goals, preferences, and rights to choice and control.

You will oversee five workforce shops designed to teach new skills and promote community inclusion. In addition, you will coordinate and implement community outings and engagements based on participants’ interests. Your role also includes representing the organisation at community expos and events, conducting talks, and building connections with local stakeholders.

This is a hands-on, supervisory role ideal for someone with strong leadership qualities, excellent administrative skills, and a genuine commitment to community services.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

- Supervise support staff to deliver safe, high-quality services to participants
- Lead and manage workforce development shops, ensuring participants learn valuable skills
- Coordinate and participate in community outings aligned with participant interests
- Oversee the delivery of services that promote participant choice, control, and progress toward goals
- Attend and represent the organisation at community expos and events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members for continuous improvement
- Maintain high standards in administration, reporting, and compliance

𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮

- Diploma in Community Services
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Certificate IV in Business
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong administrative capabilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
