A Coastal Classic Grows Stronger🎾

The South Pacific Ulladulla Open is back this September, continuing its rise as one of the South Coast’s premier tennis events. What began over a decade ago as a modest local competition has evolved into a major fixture on the Tennis NSW Tournament calendar. The tournament draws players, families, and fans from across the state.

Hosted at the picturesque Ulladulla Tennis Centre by the Milton Ulladulla District Tennis Association, the tournament offers more than just top-tier tennis. With 12 synthetic grass courts nestled between native bushland and the sparkling coastline, it’s a destination that blends competition with natural beauty.

Over the years, the event has grown in both scale and reputation. The Tournament attracts some of NSW’s highest-ranked non-professional players, and the level of competition is outstanding. Today, the South Pacific Ulladulla Open is a Tennis Australia-sanctioned 03K & J125 tournament, featuring 24 events across junior and adult categories.

Off-court traditions like the “Dash for Cash” sprint challenge, evening socials, live music, and a buzzing clubhouse atmosphere have helped cement the event as a true community celebration.

This year also marks an exciting new chapter for the Ulladulla Tennis Centre, now under the management of Clubhouse Tennis, led by Daniel and his team. “We’re incredibly excited to join this fantastic community and to build on the amazing foundation that’s already been established,” says Daniel.
