Chris Hammer and Michael Brissenden will be at a Long Table Lunch at Rick Stein at Bannisters on Friday the 18th of September to talk about their careers, the transition from journalism to fiction, and their bestselling books.

Chris Hammer is a leading Australian crime fiction novelist, author of the internationally bestselling Martin Scarsden series: Scrublands, Silver, Trust, and now Legacy.

Michael Brissenden was a journalist and foreign correspondent with the ABC for 35 years. His first book of fiction, The List, was published in 2017, followed by thrillers including Dead Letters, Smoke, and his latest book, Dust, is out now.

Tickets include a glass of bubbles on arrival, a two-course lunch and an engaging in-conversation discussion.
