Rotary Club is hosting a concert by the Australian Military Band, on Saturday May 30th at the Dunn Lewis Centre to raise funds for our community.
Look at this powerful image; that is what we will experience on the 30th – more than 40 musicians on the stage.
Also known as the RMC Band or Duntroon Band, based in Canberra, the Band is predominantly ceremonial in nature supporting Vice-Regal, government agencies, Defence organisations and of course, the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
Outside of its official duties, the RMC Band often visits regional areas as a concert band, frequently morphing into a variety of smaller ensembles to entertain the public.
We will experience jazz, rock, superb solos, classical, dixie and even marches or military tunes
The enthusiasm of the Band’s musicians is exciting as they adapt to all genres and their amazing versality wins the audience’s hearts and minds, making musical memories wherever they perform in the community.
Rotary invites you to join us at 5.30pm for a 6pm start with canapes and socialising in the great hall at the Dunn Lewis Centre before the concert commences at 7pm.
